Learn more about Front-end Web devlopment today

JavaScript is referred to by many people as the darling of the web. It is easy and very friendly to use. It is mostly used at the front-end but can also be used in the back-end as Node.js. It has many framework or libraries which makes using it much more easier and faster, with less code but of course with more effectiveness. JavaScript is very powerful from my experience, I have used it in so many of my projects. And the most beautiful part is that, you can integrate it with other languages. Feel free to contact us today for your training on JavaScript or any other scripting languages.

Programming, a notion or a Niche?

 Who is a Programmer?

How do you become a Programmer?

To program is not limited to a particular people. Everybody can program once they are ready to do the hard work. Though to be a programmer, you needs some certain characteristics, habits or call qualities. Also everyone is different, the approach to which Mr A learns might be totally different from how Mr B would grab it when thought.

All you need do is to find out what works for you. Your best learning strategy. Your weaknesses and your strength.

SWOT analysis: STRENGTH, WEAKNESS, OPPORTUNITY, THREAT

And it is good to know that there are other aspects of programming that aren’t  as difficult and mind tasking as others. One can just decide to stick to a particular level in programming and perfect it over time. You mustn’t go into operating system or software development before you can before a programmer.

These and many more are the reasons why at Cybergate Communication Network, we provide our users a "one teacher to one student" learning strategy, which allows our students to learn at their own pace and at the convince of their time. Our students are given the opportunity to part in live projects and have a real-time experience of what it feels to build a real world application.

Our tutorial videos and online courses have over time proven to be the best because of our so many years of teaching experience. Truly we beat the best

WHAT DOES IT COST TO LEARN?

All it takes is
  • Commitment
  • Internet connection
  • System or Smart Phone
  • Time
Yes, its that simple.
So what else are you waiting for join us today and have your life turn around for good. Programming, they say its difficult, but we are here to make it easy. Login to our website and register with us so that you don't miss a thing. Thank you for joining us today and have a memorable day. we care!

Six (6) Basic Symbols in Flowchart

ALGORITHM WRITING

FLOWCHART AND PSEUDO CODE

An Algorithm is a step-by-step procedure to solve a given problem.

On the other hand, Procedure is a finite sequence of well-defined instructions, each of which can be carried out in a finite amount of time.

What is flow-chart? Flow chart is a type of diagram that represents an algorithm or process.

What is Pseudo-code? A pseudo-code is a compact and informal high-level description of a program.

Some Flow-chart symbols, Meaning and implementation

Symbols

Meaning & Usage

Name: Terminal

Meaning: Indicates the starting or ending of the program.

Usage: Used to Initialize/Start or to  Stop/Terminate a program

Name: Input/Output

Meaning: Indicates the Input or Output of program

Usage: Used to Indicate the Input (Enter) or Output (Display) a program

Name: Process

Meaning: Indicates any type of internal operations. Also called instruction box.

Usage: Used for calculations, operations and can even be used for Initialization or to Start a program.

Name: Decision

Meaning: Indicates any logical operation like Decision making etc

Usage: Used for asking questions that returns True or False and then make decision based on that.

Name: Connector

Meaning: Indicates breaks in the program

Usage: Used to connect breaks in a flowChart

Name: Control Flow

Meaning: Show direction of flow

Usage: Used to indicate the moving of the flowchart

Flow-chart Rules:

1.               Flowchart is generally drawn from top to bottom

2.             All boxes of flowchart must be connected with arrow.

3.             All flowchart start with a Terminal or process symbol.

4.             Decision symbol have 2 exist points, one for YES (True) and another for NO (False).

Sample of Flow-chart:

Exercises:

Now, try  this exercises, we will solve them in the next article.

a.              Develop an Algorithm to calculate the sum of squares of given input of numbers. Create the flowchart and pseudo-code  of the algorithm above

b.             Develop an algorithm that reads in three numbers and writes them all in sorted order. Also Create the flowchart and pseudo-code  of the algorithm above.

c.               Using Algorithm, flowchart and pseudo code, calculate a running sum: a user will enter numbers that will be added to the sum and when a negative number is encountered, stop adding numbers and write out the final result.
